I've always been kinda interested in the Pentax Q. The image quality won't be amazing, but it's a tiny little camera with a decent set of features. Until now it's always been a bit expensive.

Well that aspect hasn't changed, but now I'm interested in the colours, there's an Eva tie-in. Plus the Q10 is a spec-bump on the original, so I imagine they've ironed out a few bugs here and there, too.

Ordering
The Eva tie-in has a Unit-00, -01 and -02 variant. Was tossing up between the relaxing colour scheme of the 00, and the fiery red of the 02. Went with Asuka, because fuck being boring.
Pentax Q10 with standard zoom lens: 50,425 yen
Spare D-LI68 battery: 3,519 yen
Shipping
Dammit, Japan. Apparently shipping batteries is bloody hard: http://www.survivingnjapan.com/2012/12/japan-post-ship-electronics-with-lithium-ion-batteries.html
In short: the spare battery, in its consumer packaging and all safely sealed-up, can't be sent by airmail. However if it's inserted into a camera then that would be okay. Screw this, it can be surface-shipped with the slab of Skal that I'm getting.
