• Create new user account

• Set name: Preferences -> Sharing

• Get on the wifi
• Setup JP input
  • Use capslock to switch language
• Fix trackpad direction and speed
• Download Chrome and install
• Enrol fingers to touch ID
• Download and install 1Password
• Download and install Dropbox
  • Selective sync, don't sync the Apps/Google Save Your Data (240gb)
  • Let it sync Desktop and Documents, I guess. Don't need to do Downloads
  • New files default: available offline
  • If you didn't have enough diskspace at install, make a bunch of stuff available offline:
    • cosplay portfolio
    • fonts
    • Photo editing tools
    • Photos
    • profile pics
    • reference pics
    • arista_scratchpad.txt
    • foo.txt
• Set Finder Preferences
  • General
    • New Finder windows show: Downloads
  • Sidebar
    • TBC
    • Move Dropbox and Downloads to the top of the list
    • Stick Photos and Welrod Commissions to the list
  • Advanced
    • DISABLE: Show warning when changing extension
    • When performing a search: Search the current folder
    • Keep folders on top: In windows when sorting by name
• Finder: View menu options
  • Show Path bar
  • Show Status bar
• Setting: Dock and Menu Bar
  • ENABLE: Automatically hide and show the dock
  • Use 24-hour clock
  • Spotlight: Don't show in menu bar
• Set a cool wallpaper
• Hot corners: Lock screen in bottom-left
  • Actually you don't even need this any more - mash the Touch ID button to lock the screen
• Chrome extension settings
  • Redirector
    • Enable cloud sync, then look away and back again, the rules will appear
  • UBlock Origin
    • Enable cloud sync
    • Go to each tab and pull from cloud
  • Tampermonkey
    • Set Config mode to beginner
    • Enable Userscript Sync
    • Browser Sync
    • Shake it a bit until the scripts sync
• Setup Time Machine to NAS
