New place is a decent 2bd apartment with 1bathroom and 1 carpark space, right near a western and azn supermarket, not too noisy (they face the inside of the block, meaning it doesn't get too much sun, but it's not too bad either). I'd say the location is a killer. They researched for a few weeks before finding this place, love the location and proximity to... ice cream shop. Train station is about 10-15min walk away. Place was 528k. Continued valuation will conceivably be affected by things like: * The council is pumping money into the area to beautify it and generally make it appealing. * There are rumours that the market might cool a bit in the next few years, but that's speculation based on God-knows-what, where are the facts behind this? That may or may not be a self-fulfilling prophecy there... I'd be thinking... how far do the council boundaries reach, and where might they pump money into ''next'', but not right now?
